The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has just completed the assembly of the Gaganyaan crew module, the spacecraft that will carry Indian astronauts into space for the first time! What is gaganyaan? the mission that will take india to the stars  “Gaganyaan” meaning "Skycraft" in Sanskrit—is India’s first human spaceflight program. Announced in 2018, this ambitious project aims to send Indian astronauts, or "Gaganauts," into space on an indigenous spacecraft, built entirely by ISRO. The goal: To send a crew of three astronauts into space for three days before bringing them back safely. The spacecraft: A two-part system, a Crew Module (where astronauts will live) and a Service Module (which provides power and life support).
